Welcome
I am the Associate Okami of Onyado Miyomatsu.Opening in summer 2026 in the Ikisue district of Shodoshima, our inn is a labor of love. As representative of the Shodoshima Miyomatsu Olive Company, my deep passion for Shodoshima and the Shikaimachi area drives me to share this beautiful heritage with the world.
It brings me immense joy to transform a beautifully preserved family home into an inn where guests can discover the hidden charms of Shikaimachi. You might wonder why I call myself 'Associate Okami Chiyo.' My real name is Michiyo Nakaoka. In the world of traditional Kouta singing, my peers began calling me 'Naka-Okami' (Associate Okami). While I was once shy to use the title without an actual inn, now that I am officially opening Onyado Miyomatsu, I am proud to embrace it. I look forward to meeting travelers from across the globe and guiding you through the Shodoshima I love so dearly. I sincerely welcome you to our island home.
